What Makes Algorab Different

Structured, Not Scattered

Each programme follows a clear sequence. Participants know what to expect each week and how the material builds on itself.

Small Cohort Size

Workshops and mentoring tracks run in small groups, so facilitators can engage with each participant's work and questions directly.

Reading-First Approach

Before building anything, we help learners understand the underlying ideas. Our reading series is the foundation all other programmes reference.

Written Feedback

Feedback on exercises and projects is delivered in writing, giving participants a record they can review and refer back to.

Flexible Pacing Options

The reading series is fully self-paced. Workshops have a weekly rhythm with recorded sessions so you can catch up if needed.

Based in Penang

Common Questions

Do I need a technical background to join the reading series?
No. The Foundations Reading Series is designed to be accessible to learners without a programming or mathematics background. It focuses on conceptual understanding rather than implementation.
Are the workshop sessions recorded?
Yes. All live workshop sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled participants. This lets you revisit material at your own pace or catch up on a session you couldn't attend.
What is the time commitment for the twelve-week workshop?
Each week typically involves a 90-minute live session plus two to three hours of reading, exercises, and written assignments. The workbook and session recordings are available throughout the duration of the programme.
How does the Mentor-Guided Programme differ from the workshops?
The mentor track adds a layer of personal engagement. Mentors review your submitted project work and provide written notes specific to what you've submitted. The programme concludes with a portfolio review where your work is assessed as a whole.
Does Algorab issue qualifications or professional certificates?
Algorab programmes are educational in scope and do not confer professional qualifications or industry certifications. Participants receive a completion acknowledgement. The value lies in the learning experience and the portfolio work produced.
Is payment required upfront, and what currency is used?
All pricing is listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment details are confirmed upon enrolment. Contact us to discuss available payment arrangements for the longer programmes.
How do I decide which programme to start with?
If you're new to AI concepts, the Foundations Reading Series is a good starting point. If you already have some familiarity and want hands-on work, the Workshop Series is a natural next step. Send us a message and we'll discuss your background and goals.
