Three Programmes, One Consistent Approach
All Algorab programmes share the same commitment to careful reading, small groups, and substantive feedback. They differ in format, depth, and duration.
← Back to HomeHow All Algorab Programmes Are Structured
Every Algorab programme begins with reading. Before participants do anything with AI tools, they spend time understanding the conceptual foundations — what these models are, how they work at a structural level, and where the current limits and debates sit.
From that base, the workshop series adds practical tooling exercises, and the mentor-guided programme adds project work reviewed by a mentor. Each tier builds on the reading-first foundation.
All feedback — whether on a discussion board prompt, a workshop exercise, or a mentor-reviewed project — is delivered in writing. This is a deliberate design choice that gives participants a record they can use after the programme ends.
Foundations Reading Series
A self-paced reading series introducing the ideas behind modern AI models. Includes written modules, short reflection prompts, and an asynchronous discussion board moderated by the school. Participants leave with a structured notebook of summaries they can reference later.
- Written modules on AI foundations and key models
- Short reflection prompts after each module
- Asynchronous discussion board access
- Structured summary notebook template
- No prerequisites or technical background needed
Learners who are new to AI and want to build a conceptual foundation before doing anything practical. Also suits professionals who need to follow AI discussions in their field without necessarily implementing anything.
Hands-On Workshop Series
A twelve-week workshop series with weekly live online sessions, small group exercises, and written assignments around practical AI tooling. Includes recorded sessions, a course workbook, and written feedback on submitted exercises. Runs in cohorts with a consistent weekly rhythm.
- 12 weekly live online sessions (90 min each)
- All sessions recorded and available to participants
- Course workbook with exercises
- Written feedback on submitted assignments
- Small group format, direct facilitator access
Learners with some familiarity with AI concepts who want to move from reading to doing. Suits working adults who can commit to one structured session per week and a few hours of independent work alongside it.
Mentor-Guided Programme
A six-month programme combining course modules with a small group mentoring track. Mentors review submitted project work and provide written notes. The programme is structured around a final portfolio review. Educational in scope — does not confer professional qualifications.
- Full course module track (reading + workshop)
- Small-group mentoring across 6 months
- Written mentor notes on submitted project work
- Final portfolio review with substantive feedback
- Completion acknowledgement
Learners who want to produce a real body of project work under structured guidance over an extended period. Suits those who find independent learning too unstructured and want a consistent mentoring relationship alongside course content.

Shared Across All Programmes
Data Protection
Participant data handled in accordance with Malaysia's PDPA 2010. No data shared with third parties.
Scope Transparency
We state clearly what each programme includes and what it does not. No inflated claims about qualifications or outcomes.
Updated Materials
Modules reviewed and revised between cohorts. AI developments are tracked and reflected in what participants receive.
Feedback-Driven Improvement
Structured end-of-programme feedback collected from each cohort. Results feed directly into subsequent cohort design.
Direct Support
Questions reach the team directly. Small cohort size means responses are specific to your situation, not templated.
Small Cohort Policy
Live programmes cap cohort size so facilitators can engage with each participant's work meaningfully throughout the programme.
